Jason Zhao, co-founder of blockchain-based intellectual property platform Story Protocol, is transitioning from his full-time role to focus on a new artificial intelligence initiative called Poseidon. The venture targets AI applications in frontier sectors including biopharma, robotics, and space exploration.

Zhao will maintain an advisory position at Story Protocol, where he helped secure over $130 million in venture funding since its 2021 launch. Leadership transitions to co-founder SY Lee as CEO, with Andrea and Sandeep assuming key product and AI roles respectively.

The Story Protocol token IP trades at $5.80, reflecting a 2% daily gain. Zhao's departure underscores the growing convergence between blockchain and AI sectors, with industry veterans increasingly bridging both domains.
